All of the following Rules &#038; Guidelines<br \/>\nmust be followed for successful submission.<br \/>\n2. An exhibitor may enter a total of 4 unique<br \/>\nitems. (see Rule #10) The same item may not be<br \/>\nduplicated in more than one department.<br \/>\n3. Claim tickets will be given when the items are<br \/>\nentered and must be presented to claim money<br \/>\nand entries.  The owner of the item is the only<br \/>\none who can collect money.  Parents will be<br \/>\nallowed to pick up money for the child.<br \/>\n4. All paintings and photos must be securely<br \/>\nframed with screw eyes and wire for hanging.<br \/>\nAll entries, therefore, must be completely dry,<br \/>\nframed, and hangable.  Entries such as those to<br \/>\nbe hung with string, tape, and\/or glue will NOT<br \/>\nbe accepted.<br \/>\n5. Work must have been completed within the last<br \/>\nthree (3) years and not previously entered in<br \/>\nthe Washington County Fair.  Entrants must<br \/>\nhave at least six (6) months of residency in the<br \/>\ncounty.<br \/>\n6. All articles must be the work of the exhibitor.<br \/>\nAny irregularity in the entry, or fraud by<br \/>\nmisrepresentation or otherwise detected<br \/>\nbefore or after the awards are made, shall<br \/>\ncause the forfeiture of the money, which will be<br \/>\nwithheld by the fair board.<br \/>\n7. 4-H members cannot enter articles in both<br \/>\nHome and Fine Arts Division and 4-H, as 4-H<br \/>\nis judged differently.<br \/>\n8. Entries must be the original work of the artist.<br \/>\n<strong>Copies and class-taught work can be on display<br \/>\nonly.<\/strong><em><br \/>\n9. None of the following will be allowed in the<br \/>\nWashington County Fair: nudity, satanism,<br \/>\ncult\/gang-related items, or killing.<br \/>\n10. Artists may enter TWO (2) entries in each class(i.e.<br \/>\n2 Fine Arts Entries &#038; 2 Literary Arts Entries)<br \/>\n11. Unless otherwise provided, articles can be<br \/>\nentered ONLY by the owner or producer.  Any<br \/>\nattempt to perpetrate fraud by<br \/>\nmisrepresentation will bar the piece from<br \/>\ncompeting for any money.  Department<br \/>\nsupervisors may remove from the grounds any<br \/>\nexhibit that is falsely entered or which may be<br \/>\ndeemed unsuitable, objectionable, or difficult<br \/>\nto display.<br \/>\n12. Entries must be picked up on Monday, April 21<br \/>\nbetween 9:00AM and 5:00PM in the Harmony<br \/>\nBuilding.  Items left unclaimed will be taken to<br \/>\nthe Extension Office to be picked up by April 30.<br \/>\n13. Money may be redeemed at the money bank at<br \/>\nthe fair during the designated hours.  Money<br \/>\nnot redeemed by Monday, April 21, at 5:00PM<br \/>\nmay be redeemed at the Washington County<br \/>\nTreasurer&#8217;s Office at 111 East Tabernacle, St.<br \/>\nGeorge.  All money must be redeemed by May<br \/>\n30, 2025 or the money will be forfeited.<br \/>\nAbsolutely no entry may be reclaimed until<br \/>\nMonday, April 21, from 9:00AM to 5:00PM to<br \/>\navoid disrupting the spirit of the fair.<br \/>\nBest of Show \u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026.$25<br \/>\nJudges Choice \u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026$15<\/p>\n<p>Programming Staff will retrieve submissions from eligible participants<br \/>\nat the deadlines provided below. (Lockdown Status = Not Eligible) <\/p>\n<p><strong>DEADLINE FOR FINE ARTS SUBMISSIONS IS APRIL 3, 2026 BY 4 PM<\/strong><em><\/p>\n<p>CLASS 2 \u2013 Graphics<br \/>\nLimit 2 per class<br \/>\nRULES &#038; GUIDELINES<br \/>\n1. Items should be ready to exhibit.<br \/>\n2. All articles made as a set will be judged as such.<br \/>\n3. All entries MUST be framed with wire hangers<br \/>\n4.
